This Neolithic ceramic figurine was uncovered near the village of Deriivka, Oleksandriia Raion, Kirovohrad Oblast — along the southern banks of the Dnipro River, in a region long associated with early Cucuteni-Trypillia settlements. Discovered during riverbank stabilization works, the object was found embedded in compacted soil alongside fragments of ritual pottery and animal bones, hinting at its ceremonial context.
The figurine features a stylized humanoid shape with faint geometric impressions along the torso, suggesting symbolic meaning — possibly linked to fertility, spiritual protection, or ancestral worship. Its simple, abstract form is typical of Trypillia sacred iconography.
As a preserved expression of prehistoric belief and artistry, this piece is ideal for collectors of ancient Ukrainian culture, Neolithic spirituality, and museum-grade antiquities.
