This Neolithic ceramic amphora was found near the village of Andrushivka, Zhytomyr Raion, Zhytomyr Oblast — on a wooded rise between the Teteriv and Irsha Rivers, in an area known for multiple layers of prehistoric habitation. The vessel surfaced during trenching for a new vineyard fence, where compacted soil revealed signs of an ancient dwelling, including charred wood, bone fragments, and domestic pottery.

Formed by hand and bearing subtle geometric lines circling the body, the amphora likely served as a storage container for ritual offerings or essential goods like grain, oil, or honey. Its narrow neck and carefully balanced form are typical of Trypillian ceramic design, where everyday utility met symbolic function.

A rare and culturally rich artifact from the spiritual and domestic life of early Ukraine, ideal for serious collectors and enthusiasts of Neolithic European civilization.
